About Us

We are very experienced full time professional musicians based in the North West of England who come together as a String Trio, combining violin, viola and cello.

As individual performers we’ve played with many of the country’s symphony and chamber orchestras and performed at theatres all over the UK including the West End and The National Theatre, as well as recording for film, television, radio etc.

We always greatly enjoy the work we do as a Trio and single mindedly work to bring to each special event the extra magical element that only live music can. We have a huge repertoire ranging from classical favourites right up to modern day hits, quite simply, we have something for every musical taste.

It’s your special day, your special event, and we want it to be everything you ever dreamed it could be. You may well know exactly what you want already but if you feel you’d like some input from us in the planning stages we’re always happy to help, and if you are not in need of the more traditional type of gift please click on our “pricing” page to see how you can add us to your wedding/gift list.

If you are looking for a slightly larger ensemble The Leighton-Jones String Quartet could be just the job.

This North West of England quartet of 2 violins, viola, and cello, played by classically trained, full time professional musicians has played together for many years and has an enormous repertoire with choices to please everyone. Whilst as a quartet we are regularly involved with weddings, corporate events and functions of all kinds, individually, we free lance with orchestras such as The Liverpool Philharmonic, for large scale touring companies such as “Miss Saigon” and “Les Miserables”, and have worked with artists from Pavarotti and Bjork to Philip Schofield and Terry Wogan !
